V5 was based on Chrysler Pacifica architecture. This was the 5th generation driver that became first ever deployed as a rideshare service without a driver. Located now in Chandler Arizona, it provided service in the metropolitan area transporting around a 1000 people per day.
I was responsible for all aspects of design development and studio engineering.
Our team had to be very resourceful and diligent in order to quickly identify a proper location of the overhead console. Spending many hours in the vehicle and testing camera location. We also had to take into consideration ingress/egress of passengers , as well as overhead clearance.
We worked with an automotive Tier 1 supplier in order to build production parts. Coordinated our design with UXR and legal teams to establish proper content for braille and rider interface
